Thanksgiving

It's been a while since I've posted.. I'm sure you guys have not noticed nor minded :).

Life has been rather busy lately! We've barely had time to work with all the fun we've been having ;)!

Around February - March-ish I was making potato soup. I geniusly decided to use the crock part insert on the top of the stove. .ANNNND that's another story for another time.. Well, as I'm sure you can assume the insert busted and potato soup went EVERY where. Including in between the layers of my oven door. This ugliness has been driving me nuts every since then. So, on Friday I decided I was going to take apart the oven door and clean the inner and outer sides of the glass.. Well instead of being a "smart" person and taking the door off the oven I just started unscrewing screws.. Yeah mistake number 1! After I cleaned the glass I was trying to reassemble the door, yes while it was STILL on the oven (about 3 minutes after I was instructed by my husband to leave the door alone so that I didn't break it), the glass slipped out of one of my hands and fell about 2 inches on to our ceramic tile floor and shattered.. into a million  trillion pieces... Yes, it was awesome. I'm so glad I paid heed ignored my husbands brilliant advice.  I was able to find, with the help of and online chat person, what I thought to be the replacement part for a decent price online. I ordered and was so excited that shipping was reasonable, AND it got here in three business days.. Only to discover that it was the wrong part... Oyyyyy... I am super grateful that I've got two ovens and am still able to cook. Wait, cook? What's that? I haven't done that all week.. Well except for the gf brownies I made last night :)! YIKES!

We're gearing up for a fun weekend! Katie, Kylie and Kyndall are spending the night with us tomorrow! Yay for yummy foods, games, fun crafts, camp fires and sweet time with some of my favorite kiddos!

Thanksgiving is exactly one week from today! I LOVE this time of year! Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite Holidays of the year! We have so much to be thankful for! So I will try not to focus on the fact that we just realized our roof is leaking pretty bad and all the rain from the last few days... Well not so great! Or the fact that my oven is still broken.. Or all of the other things life throws at us. After all, it is all for our sanctification right?!?! I'm incredibly thankful for my salvation. Christ saved me from the pits of hell, from a life lost and looking for momentary happiness and I am so unworthy. He not only saved me but loves me immensely and desires a relationship with me! I am so unworthy of my amazing husband that has made coffee every morning this week! I have the most loving family and friends a girl could ask for. A wonderful (new) church family, who we are super excited to get to know (or re-know lol). I have a roof over my head and an abundance of good food to eat. Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow! I am soo so unworthy of all the blessings God has given me. Thank you abba Father.

Toodles!
